Working software.
Most software ends up locked into someone else's cloud or stack. I build yours so it won't be — on my own, with open-source tools, and yours to keep.
Services
- Software products, built to last — A real product people pay for — accounts, billing, the admin side, all of it. Built to handle actual customers from day one, not a prototype you have to throw away in a year.
- Infrastructure that holds up — The plumbing under your software: deploys that don't scare anyone, secrets kept properly, and enough monitoring that you hear about problems before your customers do. Hosted in the EU, and nothing locking you in.
- A senior pair of hands — Architecture calls, code review, and getting a stuck team moving again — without hiring a full-timer. I'll also tell you when the honest answer is that you don't need me yet.
- AI on top of your own data — Make your own documents and records searchable and genuinely useful — answers that point back to a real source instead of making things up. I build the whole thing, from the raw data to the tool people actually use.
Sophisticated solutions — minimal, yet complete, built on open source. Lean process, no (vendor) lock-in, sustainable costs.
Perspective
Code got cheap. Judgement, quality, and team coordination got harder — and matter more. Roles are shifting and how teams collaborate is being redesigned. I help with the practical side: modern workflows, modern tooling, Lean development, people and AI working together without losing the plot.
Selected Work
- AI system for a national governmentReads through huge volumes of public records and surfaces the signals worth paying attention to. I built all of it — the data side, the AI, the app, and the EU-hosted infrastructure it runs on. (Under NDA.)
- Subscription product for energy modellingA real paid product — accounts, billing, usage limits — with a simulation engine doing the actual maths behind it. Built end to end, on my own. (Under NDA.)
- EU-sovereign git forge. Go, jj-first, MCP-native. Open core in active development; alternative to GitHub/GitLab for organisations that need EU data residency and no hyperscaler dependency.
- Spec-driven collaboration for humans and AI agents. Portable markdown as source of truth; CLI, MCP server, VSCode extension.
- A typed configuration language in Rust. Every document reduces to one canonical value with a content hash, and imports are lockfile-verified — so config can't silently drift or be tampered with. A safer alternative to YAML and Helm.
- One API for all Greek government data. Unifies 6+ fragmented portals into a single queryable REST API with due diligence reports and procurement alerts.
- Modern EUR-Lex parser for Python. Async, typed, CLI, SPARQL support. Available on PyPI, Python 3.10–3.14.
- Musical tuner for iOS.
- Metronome for iOS.
- Meal planning for iOS.

If you’re building something with real complexity and need sharp engineering or architecture, I’d like to hear about it. Doesn’t have to be fully formed — a rough sketch or "I’m stuck on X" is enough.
